Boundaries for Leaders

by Henry Cloud

Cloud applies boundaries to leadership: you get what you create and what you allow, attention and focus as a leader's responsibility, building emotional climates, control and ownership, and the hardest boundary, the one with yourself. It is less overtly religious than his other books and useful to any manager.

Three things you will actually use

  1. You get what you create and what you allow.
  2. Set boundaries on your own attention first.
  3. Positive climates come from leader behavior, not posters.

Do this first
