Why You Should Read Your Script Before You Ever Hear It
2 min read
Here is a question worth asking of any audio you listen to repeatedly: do you know exactly what it says? For most generic programs the answer is no. You heard it once, it sounded fine, and now it plays while you sleep. Given what repetition does, that is a strange thing to be casual about.
Approval is a safeguard, not a formality
WisdomDeck’s process puts the full written script in front of you before any audio exists. Every sentence. You read it, you change what does not fit, and only what you approved gets produced. This is slower than the alternative, and it is deliberate. Nothing goes into your ears on repeat that you have not seen on a page.

What to look for when you read it
Statements you flinch at: too grand, not yet true, or just not how you talk. Step them down. Names and details: the right nickname, the right pronunciation note, the right Thursday. Anything that sounds like someone else’s values. The script should sound like the best version of your own voice, not like a stranger’s idea of motivation.
It also tells you the service is honest
A provider that will not show you the script is asking for a kind of trust you should not give. Showing it is how WisdomDeck demonstrates what the audio is: plain language, in your name, about your goal. No hidden content, no techniques you did not agree to, nothing you could not read aloud to a friend.

One round of changes, then production
You get a round of changes included. After you approve, the voice you chose from samples produces the audio, and the files that arrive match the page you signed off. If a name is wrong in the finished audio, it is fixed free within fourteen days. The script and the audio are yours; the copyright belongs to you.
Not therapy, and said plainly
Reading your script is also where you see what the service is not. There is no diagnosis in it, no treatment, no promise. WisdomDeck is not a clinic and the writers are not clinicians. What is on the page is what you will hear: a better narration of your own week.

The full sequence, from brief to quote to script to voice sample to delivery, is on how your script is written. Orders start with a brief on the Custom Audio page; a quote comes by email; nothing is charged until you agree.
