Accountability for starting a business

Plans are free.
The first sale costs discomfort.

The author of The Reality Code lost businesses, and the book is blunt about why: not a lack of ideas or information, but a long run of avoided actions, the unpriced offer, the unsent message, the account not looked at. A partner exists to make those actions dated and witnessed.

Your partner is not a business adviser and will not tell you what to sell, how to structure the company or what to do with the money. They will hold you to the sequence you agreed: the offer in one sentence, a price, a list of twenty people told, and a first sale by a date.

This is not legal, tax, accounting, investment or financial advice, and no revenue or result is promised. Get those from licensed professionals. Get the follow-through here.

What a Sprint looks like

Wk 1

The offer

One sentence, one price, one customer type. No logo yet.

Wk 2

Tell twenty people

By name, individually. Proof: the list with ticks.

Wk 3

First sale attempt

Ask for the money. Record the answers, including the no’s.

Wk 4

Adjust and repeat

Change one thing based on week three. Ask again.

Illustrative. Your plan is written with you on the first call, from your real deadline.

Plans

Priced by time.
Nothing hidden.

US dollars. Calls are 45 minutes, by phone (we call you, or a free internet call if you are outside the US), in your time zone. Add a 1-hour custom audio recording to any Sprint or Program for $39 instead of $59. No checkout on this website: you send the form, receive a confirmed price by email, then a PayPal invoice. Your partner is assigned when the invoice is paid. Reschedule free with 24 hours’ notice; a missed call without notice counts as used. Unused calls expire six months after purchase. Non-refundable once the engagement starts.

Questions

Before you ask.

Can my partner be my business mentor?

No. They are an accountability partner, not an adviser or mentor, and they will say ‘that is a question for an accountant’ when it is.

What if I want help with the business plan?

Your partner will set deadlines for sections and check they exist. They will not write or review it for business merit.

Is my partner a therapist or a certified coach?

No, and we will not pretend otherwise. Partners are independent contractors trained in the WisdomDeck accountability method, built on The Reality Code. They hold no professional license and give no medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. Their job is narrower and, for getting things done, often more useful: a plan, a date, and a person who checks.

Who takes my calls?

No. The method comes from The Reality Code; WisdomDeck partners are trained in it and deliver it. Every partner has signed a confidentiality agreement and works from the same written process.

What if I miss a call?

With 24 hours’ notice, it moves free. Without notice it counts as used; accountability that forgives everything is not accountability.

Refunds?

The first call is where you decide. After the engagement starts there are no refunds; you can pause a program once for up to 30 days. Text-only partnership is month to month and can be cancelled before any renewal.
