Eating and Training: Replace the Inner Critic Before You Replace the Diet
2 min read
Think about the last time an eating plan or a training block fell apart. It was not the slice of cake. It was the sentence after the cake: “Well, that is ruined, might as well.” The slip was two hundred calories. The sentence cost the week. Every plan you have tried was undone not by the behavior but by the narration around the behavior.
The critic is the real diet
Most people trying to change how they eat or train have a harsh internal commentator running all day. “You are lazy.” “Look at you.” “You always do this.” The commentator believes it is helping. It is doing the opposite: shame reliably produces the behavior it is shaming. Change the commentary and the behavior gets easier; keep it and no plan survives.

What a replacement sounds like
Not “I love my body” if you do not; that just triggers the objection. Something your current self can hear. “Chris, you ate the thing. It is one meal. Dinner is dinner.” “You trained three times this week; that is who you are now.” Plain, in your name, at the level of the actual week. The script should also cover the ordinary moments: the kitchen at night, the gym bag by the door, the Sunday reset.
Repetition replaces the critic
The critic has had years of airtime. The replacement needs months of it. Heard daily, in your name, on walks and at night, the new commentary slowly becomes the one that shows up after the slip. That is the whole aim: not perfection, but a better sentence after the cake.

Where the line is
This is not a weight-loss program, a meal plan or medical advice, and it is not a treatment for any eating disorder. WisdomDeck is not a clinic. If eating is a source of real distress, a physician or a licensed professional is the right first call, and Custom Audio is not a substitute.
Ordering
WisdomDeck Custom Audio for eating and fitness starts with a brief about what the critic says and what you want to be true in an ordinary week. You approve the full script before production, choose the voice from samples, and receive private chaptered MP3s that are yours. Quote by email; nothing charged until you agree. For the question of whether the sessions actually happened, the accountability partner service does the asking.
